Yes! There are plenty of modifications and variations demonstrated to make the workouts as inclusive as possible. Throughout the virtual workouts you are encouraged to go at your own pace, and pause the video for extra rest if necessary. The workouts are designed with new exercisers, “I haven’t worked out in a long time” exercisers, and old/healed injuries in mind.

Many classes don’t need any equipment at all! Soul Beats, Flow, a lot of Barre classes and Repeat classes can be done without any equipment.
Equipment to consider:
Yoga mat: We recommend a mat for most workouts if you are working out on a hard floor.
Yoga blocks: Blocks are easy to find and small and easy to store. One or two blocks are used in formats like Flow, Restore and sometimes Barre.
Weights: Resolution requires weights for an effective workout, and Repeat often uses weights as well, although some Repeat videos are no-equipment workouts.
We recommend dumbbells, weight plates, or a group fitness style barre (a light barre, 2-5lbs NOT an Olympic bar which is 45lbs!!) with plates.
Any type of handheld weight will work. It is also suggested to have 2 different sets available to allow for quick and easy adjustment throughout the workout. For example, if you’re a beginner who is new to weight lifting, a pair of 3lb dumbbells and a pair of 5lb dumbbells is a great place to start.
Pilates Ball: In our barre classes we often use a small 9” inflatable ball. These are not to be confused with the small weighted pilates balls (typically 2-5lbs and 3-4” in diameter) or the very large swiss balls or exercise balls that are 65-85cm in diameter.
The ball you’re looking for is about 9” when inflated and cost between $10-25 on average. Brand names include the Bender ball, and from Yoga Tune Up, the Coregeous Ball.
For many of the barre workouts with a ball, you can substitute a yoga block or a firm throw cushion in place of the ball.
Yoga Bolster: this is a firm pillow that is used in many of the Restore classes. Because of it’s size and cost, if you’re not ready to invest in a bolster you can simulate this prop by putting two pillows into one pillowcase. See the video on Restore props for more details.
Blankets, pillows and other comforts: in Restore we will sometimes use blankets and pillows to add warmth, cushioning, and comfort. Any items you already have are perfect for this.

These are brands we have tried in the past and they generally create quality products. Please shop around and choose products that are appropriate for your use and your budget.
